Cast
Cathy Crawford
–Glenda
Cathy’s first Lieder production was playing Dolores
in last year’s Christmas show Footrot Flats. Her first theatrical
experience was in the Argyle Society’s production of The Grand
Duke, and since then she has performed with them in Salad
Days, Who Murdered Lenny the Louse and My Fair Lady.
Cathy sings with the St Saviour’s and Goulburn Regional Conservatorium
Choirs. Her hobbies include renovating her house, horse riding, gardening
and playing the piano. We welcome Cathy back to perform in Ladies Night.
Brian Hill
– Bernie
Brian returned to Goulburn in 2003 after a long absence
living in Sydney and immediately
became involved in the Company’s work assisting on the production of
A Month of Sundays and Forks’n
All. Since then he has performed in The Tempest, Treasure
Island, Inheritance, Babes in
the Wood, Old Time Music Hall, The Ballad
of Mary Ann Brownlow, Macbeth, Aladdin, and most recently Cinderella.
In our foyer theatrette Brian has performed
in Fireface and The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth.
Brian works at the Goulburn Post and has designed the Lipsticks T-shirts
for Bernie’s Nightclub.
Matthew Kay
– Craig
Treasure
Island was Matthew’s first show on the Lieder stage
in 2005. Since then he has performed in The Tempest and this year he played
three roles in Macbeth. For Ladies Night Matt has been working
out as roadie
for the international touring show Dralion
presented by Cirque du Soleil. Let’s hope he stays about to be in more
Lieder shows next year!
Terry Phillips
– Barry
Terry was last seen on the Lieder stage earlier this
year in Noises
Off and has previously performed with the Company in Pinocchio,
Habeas Corpus, Babes
in the Wood, Oliver Twist, Dracula, and Treasure
Island. He joined the Company in 1999 to play the
stripper in Blackrock and has also performed
in John Spicer’s 2000 production of Dark of the Moon. Terry stage managed
our foyer productions of The Man Who…, La Dispute,
and the Lieder Youth Theatre production of I= CAN which toured around
the Southern Tablelands and at Smoke Free Burning Boards Youth Festival
in the ACT.
David Rayner
– Norman
David made his debut on stage at the age of nine in
the Rockhampton Little Theatre’s Wizard of Oz. He subsequently
appeared on the small screen (briefly) with the crew from Aunty Jack
in the ABC’s Flash Nick from Jindavick. For the Argyle
Society David has appeared in Godspell, The Grand Duke, La Belle Helene, and co-wrote and directed
Who
Murdered Lenny the Louse. For the Lieder David has performed
in Old
Time Music Hall directed by Stan Henderson, Away,
Forks’n All (a feast for peace), The Ballad of Mary
Ann Brownlow, The Memory of Water , Round and Round the Garden, Equus, Footrot
flats,
Noises Off, Macbeth, and most recently Table Manners
directed by Judith Boyd. Also with us this year David performed with
his eyes closed for the opening of the Archibald Exhibition at the Goulburn
Regional art Gallery. He is currently on the Lieder Board of Management
Martin
Sanders – Graham
Martin first trod the boards in 3rd class,
performing for a retirement home and this year played in The Ballad of Mary Ann Brownlow,
Table
Manners and the title role in Macbeth. He has also performed in Footrot
Flats, The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth, The Cripple of Inishmaan
Round and Round the Garden, The Tempest,
Treasure Island, Shatterproof,
Oliver Twist, Blackrock, Babes in the Wood, The
Removalists, Forks’n All, Pinocchio,
La Dispute, Dracula and John Spicer’s production of Hamlet.
Martin is a builder and assists with maintenance and repairs
to our Theatre, his hobbies include reading, jewellery
and horses.
Greg Seckold
– Gavin
Greg started performing in his early years as a magician
with appearances in shopping malls and on children’s TV shows. He had
a stint in the Carlingford Players Musical
Society in the late 70s and 80s and is now a domestic engineer building
his own house although at one time Greg was an avid go-cart racer and
IT expert. He first appeared on the Lieder stage in The Odd Couple
(female version) directed by Judith Boyd in 2005 and since then
has performed in The Tempest, The Memory of Water, Round and Round the
Garden, Footrot Flats, Equus,
Table
Manners and Cinderella. He has operated lights for The Cripple of Inishmaan and The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth and his ambition

Joshua Waters
– Wes
This year Gosh has performed in Firesong, Macbeth,
the opening of the Archibald Exhibition, Pocket Full of Knives, The
Ballad of Mary Ann Brownlow and Cinderella. Previously he has performed
roles in Equus and Hating
Alison Ashley directed by Judith Boyd and Aladdin directed by Stan Henderson,
Footrot
Flats, The Cripple of Inishmaan,
The Tempest, Picasso’s The Four Little Girls,
Away, Babes in the Wood, Treasure Island, Dead One Done, Cop This,
and Inheritance He completed a mentorship at the
Lieder in 2005 topping it off with performances in Fireface
and assisting to organise Exchange &
Change - the 2nd Gathering of Regional Youth Theatre People
highlighted with an Acrobatic Fire Show.
Gosh has been performing in our acrobatic Fire Shows since 2004
and is a regular stilt walking performer and
acrobat with the Lieder Youth Theatre.

Chrisjohn has been Artistic
Director of the Lieder Theatre Company since 1992. He has directed over
